LEEANN SMITH
CEO & Program Director LeeAnn moved to the Central Coast in 1996. At that time, she joined the jail team with Chaplain Judy Boen and began ministering in the women’s county jail. LeeAnn began leading praise and worship not only in the jail services, but also in a weekly outreach to the recovery homes on the Central Coast. She was apart of the first recovery home of Captive Hearts, and participated in leading classes and Bible studies at that time. In 2010 she became a licensed addiction specialist and began working full time as Co-Executive Program Director of Captive Hearts, along with Cyd Sebring. In 2012 she became certified to teach domestic violence classes, and last year attended a human trafficking training. Also, throughout the years she has continued her education and ministry training on an ongoing basis.
Prior to coming to the Central Coast LeeAnn and her husband Dave were entrepreneurs starting and running many service businesses, and then art retail businesses. LeeAnn was involved in the Jesus movement with evangelist Arthur Blessitt, and ministered with him singing in different churches, and witnessing and ministering to the street people on the Sunset Strip of Hollywood, California. She has always had a deep love for her Lord Jesus. Her heart has found a home here on the Central Coast with the precious women that come to Captive Hearts for the purpose of healing and restoration. |

CAREY NOSLER
Intercession I was looking for a prayer group when my family and I moved to the Central Coast 18 years ago. A new friend introduced me to Captive Hearts’ prayer group at the time. That’s when I first met LeeAnn, and when I discovered that Captive Hearts was a very special ministry. Since then, I’ve been involved with the women through mentoring. I never get tired of watching these women’s lives being transformed. Longing to share Jesus with others led me to join the Captive Hearts Jail Team about eight years ago. More recently, I started a Captive Hearts prayer team to pray for and bless this wonderful ministry through its transitions and into its future.
